Plain Cake

Ingredients:

1.150 gms maida flour,

2.100 gms basic rava,

3.250 gms powdered sugar,

4.300 gms butter,

5.3 eggs,

6.1 tbsp baking powder,

7.1 tbsp rose essence or vanilla essence

8.100 gms margarin and

9.Dry fruits as per liking.

Method:

1.Beat butter and margarin together till it melts and becomes soft.

2.Add powdered sugar to the above mixture,beating it well till it becomes like a soft cream.

3.Mix rava,maida and baking powder in maida chalni on a plate and keep it aside.

4.Beat the eggs and keep it aside.

5.Now add the beaten eggs into the cream(mixture of butter andsugar made earlier),beating it well till there are no lumps left.

6.Then put maida,rava and baking powder mixture little by little,beating it well till no lumps are left.

7.Lastly add vanilla or rose essence and mix it well.

8.Then keep the batter for 1 hour.

9.Put the batter in oven.

Oven Method:

1.Take a plain surface vessel(round,square or rectangle).

2.Apply butter on all the sides of vessel.

3.Cut butter paper as per the vessel shape,sticking it in the vessel where butter is applied.

4.Finally Pour the mixture into the vessel.

After baking,the cake is ready!
