Paneer Methi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • One cup paneer-cut into tiny pieces,

  • Two cups chopped fenugreek leaves(methi bhaji),

  • Half cup finely chopped onion,

  • Two tbsps peanut oil,

  • Two tbsps minced garlic,

  • Two tbsps minced ginger,

  • One tbsp chilli powder,

  • Half tbsp turmeric powder,

  • One tbsp cumin powder,

  • Two tbsps coriander powder,

  • One tbsp garam masala powder,

  • Half cup tomato puree and

  • Salt to taste
  • How To Make Paneer Methi:

  • Heat oil in a non-stick kadai or pan.

  • Adding onion,garlic and ginger fry till onion turns brown.

  • Now add fenugreek(methi) leaves.

  • Sprinkle little salt and keep it covered on low flame till it is cooked.

  • Now add all the powders with little water to form a paste.

  • Add tomato puree,paneer and salt to the above mixture.

  • Add little water and simmer for about 2-3 minutes.

  • Serve hot with rotis or rice.
