Paneer Kadhai

PANEER KADHAI RECIPE

Ingredients:

  • 800-850 gms paneer(cut into cubes),

  • Two-three chopped onions,

  • One tbsp ginger-garlic paste,

  • One roasted and pounded coriander seeds,

  • One tbsp black pepper,

  • One tbsp red chilli powder,

  • Half tbsp turmeric powder,

  • One and half cup tomato puree,

  • One cup green,yellow & red chopped capsicums,

  • Three-fourth tbsp cumin powder,

  • Half tbsp green cardamom powder,

  • One pinch of mace powder,clove powder,black cumin powder & fenugreek seeds(each),

  • One tbsp fresh choppedcoriander leaves,

  • Three tbsps ghee or butter and

  • Salt to taste
  • How To Make Paneer Kadhai:

  • Heating ghee in a pan,add chopped onions and saute until they turn brown.

  • Adding ginger-garlic paste,stir and fry till there is no moisture.

  • Now add red chilli powder,coriander seeds,black pepper powder,turmeric and stir-fry until they change colour.

  • Then add tomato puree,salt,paneer cubes,capsicum and fry until the paneer is light brown.

  • Sprinkle the cumin,cardamom,mace,clove,black cumin powders,fenugreek seeds and cook until the paneer is cooked.

  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with parathas or any pulao.
