Aloo Paratha

ALOO PARATHA RECIPE

Ingredients:

  • Wheat flour(for making dough),

  • Three boiled potatoes,

  • One medium finely chopped Onion(if needed),

  • Finely chopped coriander leaves,

  • One tbsp very finely chopped or grated ginger,

  • One-two finely chopped green chillies,

  • One tbsp red Chilli powder,

  • One tbsp garam masala powder,

  • Butter and

  • Salt to taste
  • How To Make Aloo Paratha:

  • Make dough out of whole-wheat flour(atta),as is made for any parantha or roti.

  • Mash the potatoes.

  • Adding all the stuffing items(mentioned above)to mashed potatoes,mix it thoroughly.

  • Now making the dough into a ball fill the above stuff into it.

  • Now roll the dough ball into the form of roti,taking care that stuffing does not come out.

  • Roast the rolled dough over a pan as done for roti.

  • When top side is done change the side and roast it on other side as well.

  • Spread butter over it(if needed).

  • Serve aloo paratha hot with yogurt(curd) or pickle.
