Rajma Curry

Today having look at Rajma Curry recipe.So lets get started.

Ingredients:

1.One cup red kidney beans(rajma),

2.Two grated onions,

3.One tbsp chilli powder,

4.Four-six tomatoes,

5.Two tbsps sugar,

6.Two-three tbsps ghee,

7.Seven cloves garlic,seven green chillies and 25mm piece ginger grounded to paste and

8.Salt to taste

Method:

1.Soaking the red kidney beans(rajma) over night,next day cook the same in pressure cooker and drain.

2.Heating the ghee,fry the onions for 2 to 3 minutes.

3.Adding the garlic chillies paste and chilli powder,fry again for about a minute.

4.Add the cooked red kidney beans(rajma) to the above mixture.

5.Cutting the tomatoes into big pieces,add two cups of water and cook.When cooked, take out a thick soup through a sieve.

6.Add the tomato soup to the rajma mixture.Add the sugar and salt,stirring properly.

7.Cook for a few minutes till the mixture turns into a thick gravy.
