Navratan Pulao

Today we are having a look over Navratan pulao recipe.So lets get started with this!

Ingredients:

1.Half kg basmati rice,

2.50-100 gms paneer,

3.One cup peas,

4.One cup medium sized cut cauliflower peices,

5.50g pineapple,

6.Cherries 50g,

7.One cup carrot pieces,

8.Four-six cashew nuts,

9.Three-five raisins,

10.One medium cup yogurt,

11.Garam masala as per taste,

12.Three-four green chillies,

13.One chopped onion,

14.One tbsp chilli powder,

15.Half tbsp turmeric powder,

16.Ghee or butter(proportionately),

17.Mint leaves,

18.One small bunch cilantro,

19.One lemon,

20.One tbsp ginger-garlic paste and

21.Salt to taste

Method:

1.Washing the rice,soak it in the water for 30 minutes.

2.Mixing the chopped carrots and paneer,fry the mixture in oil for 5 minutes.

3.Now heat oil in other pan and fry the onions in it till they turn golden brown.

4.Now add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies,mint leaves,paneer,vegetables,dry fruits to the above mixture and fry for 5-6 minutes.

5.Also add garam masala,salt,turmeric,chili powder,yogurt frying well.Remove from heat and keep it aside.

6.Boiling water in another vessel,add washed rice and cook until it is half cooked.

7.Then add the above prepared curry to the rice,mix well and cook on the steam until the rice is done.

8.Sprinkle the lemon juice on rice and serve with cherries on it.
