Today having a look at kashimiri pulao recipe.This is mostly famous in north india and constitutes to be one of the most important north indian recipe.So lets get started with this!
Ingredients:
1.Half kg basmati rice,
2.Two cups of milk,
3.Half cup cream,
4.One cup of chopped and mixed fruits,
5.One tbsp sugar,
6.Two tbsps ghee,
7.Two-three cloves,
8.One bay leaf,
9.One inch piece cinnamon,
10.Three-four cardamom,
11.Half tbsp cumin seeds,
12.Rose water and
13.Salt to taste
Method:
1.Washing rice,soak in water for about 10-15 minutes.
2.Heating ghee in a pan,add cloves,cinnamon,cumin seeds,bay leaf and cardamoms till a good fragrance oozes out of it.
3.Now add soaked rice and fry for two minutes.
4.Add the mixture of cream,milk,sugar and salt stirring it properly.
5.Now add half cup of water.Cover and simmer till cooked.
6.When cooked,mix in chopped mixed fruit.
7.Sprinkle few drops of rose water before serving hot!
