Today having a look at Gobi Paratha recipe.
Ingredients:
1.Two cups plain flour(Aaata),
2.Two cups grated cauliflower,
3.Two-three finely chopped green chilies,
4.Finely chopped coriander leaves(proportionate quantity),
5.One tbsp red chilli powder(as per taste),
6.One tbsp garam masala powder,
7.Water for kneading the dough,
8.Oil or butter and
9.Salt as per taste
Method:
1.Sieving the flour,add salt to it.Take care that too much salt is not added.
2.Adding little quantity of water frequently to the flour,knead it into a medium soft dough.
3.Cover the dough with a wet cloth and keep it for about half an hour.
4.Now adding coriander leaves and green chillies to the grated cauliflower,mix it well.
5.To this mixture add other spices as well for a better taste and mix it well.This mixture will be filler for the paratha.
6.Divide the flour dough into balls of equal portions and keep them aside.
7.Now roll one ball at a time to make it little bit flat and round.
8.Now put a small quantity of above mixture(filler) over it,closing it from all sides.
9.Applying some flour on both sides,roll the dough gently into a paratha.Take care not to roll out so much that filler starts coming out.
10.Now roast on a tava(pan),by applying 1/2 to 1 tsp. oil or butter on each side,until light brown.
11.Serve hot it with plain curd,pickle,raita or curry!
