Spinach Dal Recipe Ingredients:
How To Make Spinach Dal:One cup yellow moong dal, One bunch fresh spinach, One tbsp grated ginger, Half tbsp grated garlic, Four-five green chillies, One tbsp finely chopped coriander, Half tbsp lemon juice, Half tbsp clove-cinnamon powder, Half tbsp each cumin and mustard seeds, Two tbsps ghee and Salt to taste
Washing dal,pressure cook it till done.After cooling,remove dal from cooker. Wash and drain spinach. Putting half the spinach in a mixie,add 2 green chillies and blend. Then Heat one and half tbsps ghee.Add seeds and splutter. Now adding garlic,ginger and chopped spinach,stir.Then add grinded spinach.Fry for about two three minutes. Adding dal and coriander,bring to a boil.Please see to it that it is not overcooked. Heating remaining ghee in a small pan,add clove cinnamon powder,remaining 2 chillies and pour over dal. Adding lemon juice and salt,stir well. Serve hot with rice or parathas.
