Beetroot Paratha

Ingredients:

For Dough:
1.Two cups wheat flour,

2.Water for kneading the dough,

3.Two tbsps ghee and

4.Salt to taste

For Stuffing:
1.Two cups finely grated beetroot(raddish),

2.Four medium sized onions,

3.Four green chillies,

4.Two cm ginger,

5.Four flakes garlic,

6.One tbsp garam masala powder,

7.Three tbsps ghee and

8.Salt to taste

Method:

1.Grind all the ingredients thereby making a paste except garam masala powder.

2.Heat ghee in a vessel and fry the beetroot paste on a low flame.

3.Cook covered,till the mixture is almost dry.Remove from flame.

4.Divide the paratha dough into small balls.Roll out each ball into a small puri, put a little beetroot filling in the centre and seal the edges.

5.Roll out into parathas.

6.Heat tawa(pan),add some ghee and roast the parathas till they light brown.
